It’s that time of year when we start thinking, can I play Christmas music or wait? Why are we excited to begin thinking of this season and its music? I believe it’s the reason and story behind the music. Christmas is so much more than playing music and decorating our houses. It gives us an opportunity to pause and celebrate the birth of Jesus! His birth gives us Hope! In a world that seems full of chaos we celebrate the One that brings Peace, Love, Hope and Joy – Jesus. The night Jesus was born the angel said to the shepherds, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all people.” Can you imagine hearing news that brings great joy to all people? This Christmas help us share the Good News with those that have not heard. Preparations and practices are now being made. Our staff in India, across 10 different celebrations, will share the Good News of Jesus with over 1200 people. This is our largest outreach time of the year. The world accepts and celebrates Christmas in many ways. This gives us an opportunity to share the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus. This year we will be able to celebrate the Christmas story with more people than in the past few years. These celebrations are approximately $8,000 above our normal budgeted expenses.
