Prayer Updates

Rahab’s Rope wholeheartedly believes that it is God’s heart to break the bonds of injustice concerning the tragedy of human trafficking in India. Based on His word, we believe He is passionate about giving women beauty instead of ashes, healing those that are broken, setting the oppressed free, and comforting those in affliction. As Christ obediently followed the will of his Father, Rahab’s Rope desires to depend wholly on God for direction, provision, guidance, and empowerment in our work in India. Therefore, we ask you to join us in the most imperative way to honor God by asking for His involvement and power throughout the entire fight…

Immediate Needs:

Pray that God will provide a housemother and assistant director for our aftercare center in Bangalore.
Pray that God would bring the women He desires to reach with His love into our aftercare center and that he would prepare their hearts to receive the truth and the way to freedom.
Pray that God would provide the women currently living in brothels an open door to leave and the courage to take a step towards change.
Pray that God would bring unity to organizations that fight modern slavery in a holistic manner as anti-trafficking networks develop in India.
Pray that the bible studies in Goa with young Muslim and Hindu women would be effective and fruitful.
Pray that our prevention projects in Goa would be effective in preventing women and children from entering the sex trade.
Pray God would redeem women in India from the cycle of slavery and transform them into new creations spiritually as they walk in freedom.

Persistent Needs:

Pray that Christ, above all else, would be exalted in the work of Rahab’s Rope.
Pray that the retail store located in Gainesville would continue to be a place of ministry, love, and hope for the city. Pray that we would shine like a city on a hill.
That God would direct people to serve as interns in our administrative offices in Gainesville.
Pray specifically that the Lord provide rest and encouragement for of all of our staff in Goa, Bangalore, and Mumbai. Pray that He would provide them with perseverance and endurance for the work that He has for their hands to accomplish.
Pray that the thoughts, actions, and motives of the entire staff of Rahab’s Rope would reflect those of Jesus Christ.
Pray that men and women all over the world would lay down their lives, time, and resources to see the gospel advance in India.

Reasons to Worship and SIng Praises:

God's secure promise of redemption for His people.
God has provided an incredible stitching teacher to train the women in Bangalore.
God has opened incredible opportunities to serve alongside other organizations that are located near our center in Bangalore.
God has opened His hand and answered our prayers for a new stitching center in Goa. He has provided is a beautiful three-story home in a perfect location for ministry in the nearby slum community.
Recently we have had the privilege of being used by God to help rescue a young girl from the devastation of prostitution in Mumbai.
