Dear Friend of Rahab’s Rope,   
        I am so excited to be writing to you today. Many exciting things have been happening for Rahab’s Rope in India as well as here in the U.S. Some of you may not have heard our report from the Christmas Celebration so I will bring you up to date from that point. We had a twelve-member team travel to India. Within the team we had a group from the Gainesville Care Center, a crisis pregnancy agency, Ga. Right to Life, a drama team and an artist teaching jewelry making skills. So much was accomplished through the gifts and skills of each team member. Our Christmas Celebration was attended by almost 500 women each one heard the Good News of Jesus Christ and received a Christmas gift. Praise the Lord lives were changed as many women also received the Good News.
        Every week we have new women coming to Rahab’s Rope and learning there is a better way of life and hope for them. We have just had our first lady, Gowramma, which received the Lord and has gone through a training process will now go back out to the streets as a staff worker for Rahab’s Rope. We are extremely excited about this because she will be so effective in reaching other women, however, at the same time we realized she will need to be covered in prayer, as the enemy will try to use many things against her to bring her back to her old lifestyle. Please remember Gowramma in prayer.
        March 8th, there was an International Women’s Day in Bangalore in which 25 of our women were able to participate and David Dass was able to speak and shared; Genesis…Creation…. Fall…Redemption: The free gift of salvation through Christ!!  He had a wonderful response. Just this week we have received two women just released from the prison, they shared their story; David and Shoba spent time praying one on one with them. David wrote: “When they came into Rahab’s Rope, we could see the pain and hopelessness in their faces, but that evening we saw glowing faces, New Hope and clear eyes…no more tears!! They are so precious in the sight of the Lord.” The women have been keeping busy in their various training classes. Since I was there in December they have made over 400 pieces of jewelry, handmade paper gift bags and book marks. We are so thankful for all that is being accomplished with the women of Rahab’s Rope. Of course there will always be ways we need to improve in all areas but overall the work in India is going very well both physically and spiritually.
        The biggest news we have stateside is that we will be moving our store from Maysville to Gainesville. Maysville has been a great beginning place for us but we feel it is time for us to make some changes. According to our demographic records from last year about 85% of our customers drive from Gainesville so it only makes sense for us to move there. We are sad to be leaving our friends in the Maysville area but are excited about where we feel the Lord is leading us and what He will do for the ministry through the change.
        If you live in the Commerce, Cornelia or Cumming area you will be glad to know you can purchase Rahab Rope items from; Vintage Blessing in Commerce, The Lighthouse Christian Bookstore in Cornelia or at Heavenly Dove in Cumming. We are so grateful that the owners of these stores heard about our ministry and offered to support us by selling our items in their stores. If you know of anyone that may be interested in doing the same please have them contact me.
        Many of you are accustomed to receiving email updates from me and you may be wondering why you haven’t received one lately, well, my hard drive crashed and I lost all of my email addresses along with some other things. So, please send me an email if you want to be put back on my email list.
        We are so thankful and grateful for each one of you! You are as much a part of reaching these precious women as we are. We could not do it without your support.
