Dear Friends and Supporters of Rahab’s Rope,

As usual Rahab’s Rope has had lots of exciting things going on both stateside and in India. Since I last wrote you we have completed our store move from Thompson Bridge Road to the downtown square in Gainesville. We have settled in and are very happy with our new location. Thank you to all of you that have been by to see us! We have added several new product lines to the store and I have just received a new shipment of various bags and jewelry the girls have made. Come by and see us for great gifts!

September and October have been wonderful months stateside. We spoke at a Fall Kick-off for Lawrenceville Presbyterian Women, met some great ladies and are looking forward to the future with them. First Baptist Church of Gainesville had their annual Heart & Hands Emporium, what a wonderful event for both vendors and shoppers, all while helping others in need. We were in Maryville, TN at the Global Women’s Summit. I was able to meet several organizations that I have heard of for years and a couple that do what Rahab’s Rope does in other parts of the world. It was an amazing weekend seeing women helping women all around the world. We spoke at Trinity United Methodist Church in Clermont and had a wonderful luncheon. We met with the guys from Steadfast Modesty on our upcoming t-shirt partnership, be looking for more information on this soon. We just returned from a wonderful weekend at Callaway Gardens with Mylonn Ministries. It is truly a blessing to be a partner with this conference and ministry. Many new connections and relationships were made. I also had the opportunity to be on the Atlanta Live TV show to share Rahab’s Rope, it was a wonderful experience for me and hopefully has opened new doors for the ministry. Also, Rahab’s Rope has been represented at several locations and events around the country. We have been in multiple locations in Texas, South Dakota, and Georgia. Next week I have the opportunity to speak at Brenau University and Chestatee Middle School, both in Gainesville. If you are interested in having us speak at any of your events or have any of our girls work displayed at an event you are hosting please contact us.

Stephanie Caldwell, our newest full-time volunteer in India, has just completed her first month. Please read her newsletter under 'What's Happening' to see how God is working in this young woman that had never even visited India but answered His call to go there and live for two years. Mackey, our volunteer schoolteacher is thrilled to have a roommate and helper in the work. We are truly blessed to have both of these women as part of the Rahab’s Rope organization. I will let Stephanie’s newsletter serve as our India news for this month. You will be blessed by reading her newsletter.
