Greetings Everyone!

I am so excited to invite you to this special event! First Baptist Chruch of Gainesville is having it's First Annual Heart & Hands Emporium Benefit, Sept. 19 & 20. This year Rahab's Rope is the beneficiary. The event is being held in their beautiful new addition. There will be 50 vendors present for your shopping pleasure and there will be refreshments and food for relaxing and fellowshipping. The story behind the event - I spoke at a Women's Ministry Dinner at First Baptist in Jan. and shared with them the story of Christmas Celebration 2007 in India, as I had just returned. If you remember, last year we had planned for 500 women and 920 showed up, it was quiet overwhelming as we had promised all the ladies a nice meal and a new dress. Of course God provided, which is another amazing story for another time. God touched the hearts of the women's ministry at First Baptist to join Rahab's Rope this year in providing all the new dresses for the women of India that Rahab's Rope serves through Christmas Celebration and you can be a part of this exciting time and event. The way the event benefits the receipiant is the vendor fee is actually a donation to Rahab's Rope. Also, you have two choices on the admission ticket - you can pay $3 or $10 - you are thinking why would I want to pay $10 when I can get in for $3. Well, if you pay $10 you are actually buying a new dress for a lady that will come to Christmas Celebration 2008 and possibly here of Jesus's love for her for the first time in her life. Christmas Celebration is our largest outreach event of the year where hundreds of women come for the first time to hear about Rahab's Rope. This is our platform for reaching and working with new women throughout the upcoming year. Through our motto of Jesus's love in Action we have served and met the needs of over 1200 women at our women's center over the last four years. It is amazing and exciting to be a part of what God is doing among this special group of women in India.
