MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP (3-6 months 20-40 hrs/wk)
Rahab’s Rope is seeking a dynamic Marketing and Social Media Intern to aid our non-profit in expanding existing marketing tactics. The intern will make recommendations regarding ways that Rahab’s Rope can leverage social networking strategy more effectively in order to engage volunteers, supporters, and increase brand recognition. Once strategies/campaigns are approved the intern will then see them through to fruition and track success through web analytics and other metrics. In addition to online marketing, the Intern will also be responsible to assist in the development of more traditional marketing avenues such as brand development, signage, brochures, and other print materials.
Intern will be responsible for maintaining all social media communications for Rahab’s Rope including Facebook, Twitter, blog sites, etc.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a heart for human trafficking and has studied or experience in the realm of communications or marketing. Candidate must have a strong understanding of how various forms of marketing, including social media, support an organization’s branding, and scope of impact.

COMMUNICATION/ADMINISTRATION INTERNSHIP (3-6 months 20-40 hrs/wk)
Rahab’s Rope is seeking an intern to assist with administrative and office management duties. Candidate should be someone with a heart for human trafficking and a high-level of interest in pursuing a career in the non-profit sector. Responsibilities will include assisting the founder and other staff members in maintaining correspondence via phone and email. Other duties to include organizing and maintaining contact lists, setting up conferences, booking travel arrangements for volunteers, fundraising, and research projects as needed.
Ideal candidate is someone with a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to drive projects to completion. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

MERCHANDISER INTERNSHIP (6 months 30-40 hrs/wk)
The Merchandiser will contribute to the advertising, marketing, and sales efforts of our retail location and all other outlets of product sales by designing , developing, and taking charge of the visual of our products. This position will be executing merchandising strategies by creating and maintaining visual displays in the store as well as working on the visual appeal of our online catalog. This position will contribute to the bottom line sales of all our outlets with your merchandise handling, replenishment, and inventory control efforts. The Merchandiser must possess the necessary skills to work effectively with customers, staff and supporters of the ministry. This position must always be mindful of the purpose and mission of the ministry of Rahab’s Rope. This position includes opportunities to travel in the US and in India.
Ideal candidate is self-reliant, self-motivated, and has an ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines without supervision. Candidate will be expected to have excellent organizational skills, as well as planning, project management, and time management expertise. Candidate will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong creative flair and effective problem solving abilities. This is an internship position for a 6 month commitment with a review after 3 months. Merchandiser will report directly to the Director of Rahab’s Rope or a designee appointed by the Director.

FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION INTERNSHIP (6 months 30-40 hrs/wk)
This position will be responsible for tracking and maintaining our various expense reporting from our staff including: ministry projects overseas, conferences and events, and general travel. This position will work with all areas of the ministry to support our staff by helping them to develop budgets, contain costs and improve efficiencies in their areas. This position will work closely with our current financial secretary to help ensure that the ministry accountability is maintained. This person must possess the necessary skills to work effectively with customers, staff and supporters of the ministry. This position must always be mindful of the purpose and mission of the ministry of Rahab’s Rope. This position includes opportunities to travel.
Ideal candidate has a degree in finance or a related field, has excellent communication skills, is efficient and detail oriented. This position has an important role in the stewardship of the revenue generated by the ministry.
